Hi, my name is Kwame, one of the designers of the Pizzeria Pronto. In order to get your perfect pizza, it’s important to have your oven hot enough. We designed our oven to reach the ideal temperature to cook your pizza just right. Within the oven there are two temperatures that you need to know. First is the ambient temperature. This is the temperature of air between the stone and the reflector. This is what your installed thermometer reads; it should be between 700 and 900 degrees.

Second is the stone surface temperature. You want that between 500 and 600 degrees. It should be lower than the ambient temperature; this will give you perfect crust without burning it. If you have infrared thermometer and aim it at the stone, this is the thermometer it will read. An infrared thermometer will not read the ambient temperature.

Environmental factors may affect your Pizzeria Pronto temperature. If it is a windy day out, this may reduce some of the oven’s heat. We designed our oven to be energy-efficient so that it only uses a little bit of propane to get to these temperatures. You can get pizzeria quality results quickly, easily, and inexpensively. And that’s a bit of insider info about our pizza oven. Enjoy your pizza, and be sure to check out our web site and YouTube channel for more information and tips about your pizza oven.
